Copy Jesus' Actions...

Ephesians 5:1 tells us to imitate Jesus’ actions. We can do that by bringing light into the world. We are commissioned to be the salt and the light on the earth. That means our job is to be the people who preserves the earth and to bring truth (God’s truth) to the earth. People are looking to use (those who know Jesus) to be an example. They need us to show them examples of hope, integrity, salvation and relationship with Jesus.

Here are some ways we can imitate Jesus:

  1. Pray for your friends and family

  2. Pursue Your Purpose

  3. Read your Bible to be sure of what God is saying to you

Because of this responsibility it’s important to always to keep our faith in Him and not lose hope. Recall the passage in 2 Corinthians 5:7: walk by faith and not by sight.

Only be strong and courageous,

My Identity is Changing!

Can it change?

Identity can change at times. Especially when you’re learning your own identity. I once had a dream where my face was full of black craters. They were all different sizes and just thinking of them makes your skin crawl. It was a message from God, telling me that I need to find out who I am in His eyes. All of that starts with the question, “Who are you?” At first, you might say, “I’m me” or even name characteristics about yourself that you believe to be true. If you want to find out who you are, just look in the Bible! God tells you in His book and in His own words who you are. All you have to do is find the one, or many, that fit your description. Just stop by Romans, Deuteronomy, or even Ephesians and you could learn all about your identity just by reading the bible.
